The principal objective of the project is the design, development, testing and validation of an adaptable integrated system for structural strengthening of historical buildings in Europe and the Mediterranean Area, based in advanced composite materials
The specific goals are:

• To establish the adaptability of the FRP structural strengthening system of historical building by the design of an “open” and “fully compatible” solution.
• To define the material components (“body of materials”) and their user guide (“body of assistance”) with regards to define the integral strengthening package (material plus assistance guide), compatible with the specific heritage building requirements.
• The scientific and technological validation of the materials, anchoring systems and 1:3 scale models of the FRP strengthening system.
• The final validation will be achieved in low impact pilot case studies all around the Mediterranean countries.
